YTB Franchise? YTB Considers Franchise Operations

YTB Considers Franchise Operations and now the question is....what will a YTB franchise mean for the rta's?
I'm sure many people will take this as me bashing YTB or discouraging people from joining but that's not my intention. I am merely stating facts that many may not be aware of.
Click here to see the source of the facts, but I'd also like to share my input.

A few months back when YTB lost its IATAN credentials, many ytb reps had no idea. There were a lot of reps that just signed up that stated , "If I had known this upfront, I would have saved my $499". Now you may be saying, what does this have to do with anything? Well.....once again, you're hearing the truth before it is covered up. Once again, uplines will stay quiet and keep you in the dark as to whats going on. What will they do to cover up the truth this time? In the first line of this article...........

"In a surprising and controversial move that could end the era of multilevel marketing, Scott Tomer, CEO of YTB International, Inc. said the company is “contemplating the replacement of its referring travel agent (RTA) business model with the implementation of a franchise operating system, potentially in 2009.”

I see a cover up as to really say, "Hey rta's...we are nicely saying get out now while you can." Have you seen the Titanic? Will you be one of the 3 bandmembers or will you look for a life boat early and save yourself and your family? This is not to ridicule any of the reps but you have to be realistic also. Egos and walking blind paths will not keep your lights on. Think of your investment and where its headed.....would you bet on a 3 legged horse in a 4 legged race? Of course not. Remember when the telephone company back in the 90's got rid of the networking arm and kept al the customers? DO THE RESEARCH PEOPLE!

Losing the IATAN credentials and vendors seemed to be no big deal to Power team leaders that were recruiting like crazy...Why...because credentials and vendors being lost doesn't stop the 1k bonuses coming in. For someone "really" in YTB to "really" book travel, I'm sure it was a big deal. So I ask those same big shot recruiters....after reading the article about YTB Considering Franchise Operations...meaning in so many words the networking arm will cease, is it NOW a big deal?

Again, this is not to bash a YTB franchise or any of it's business partners. My thing is this...if I upset 19 people but actually open eyes and save ONE with the truth.........I will feel a lot better! Read the article, "YTB Considering Franchise Operations" and see for yourself.

Thanks for taking the time to read my "opinions".

Much Success
